Greenwoods School commenced operations in 2009 and is in its
Tenth academic session. Beginning with student strength of 310, the school now has 1500+
students. Set on a sprawling campus, the school boasts of a curriculum that lays equal
emphasis on academic and non-academic development of the students. Large, multi-purpose
playground, professional coaches, well stocked libraries, Hi-Tech laboratories and
‘E-Learning’ technology enabled classrooms, with a projector in each and every classroom,
makes for a holistic approach to education, ensuring all-round development of students and
making them truly responsible global citizens ready to face the world.
Greenwoods School comprises of qualified, dedicated and diligent team of teachers, assistant
teachers, supervisors, event organizers and curriculum planners. Due to our strength in
teamwork that is available to us we have a strong network system that is constantly tapping
into and accessing new teaching resources and methodology is constantly updated to keep pace
with the changes in educational reforms and research.

Every year the school conducts the Annual Function. Students look forward to it eagerly and participate enthusiastically in the events such as Dance, Drama, Singing, One Act Play etc. A Prize distribution ceremony is held to appreciate the efforts of the students and to encourage them for the future.
Every year Sports day is conducted so as to explore the physical talents of the students. House-wise competitions are held to imbibe a sense of healthy competition among the students.
Students are encouraged to be creative and make models from subjects ranging from science, math, History, etc. Our exhibition this year was a huge success almost 4000+ people attended the exhibition to appreciate the efforts of our students.
We have a well trained Cricket Team that participates in various Inter-School competitions.
Students are encouraged to take part in the official state game of Maharashtra (Kabaddi). Students are trained and the best among them are selected for the inter-school competitions.
School picnic is conducted once each year. For the purpose of recreation.
The school gives karate training to the students for their safety and to make them physically fit. We at Greenwoods understand the importance of learning Self Defense Techniques (especially for Girls) in present situation. We have allotted adequate time for this activity by making Karate a part of the students time table.
We at Greenwoods give utmost importance to the physical and mental development of the student. Yoga is practiced daily by the students here at the school. Yoga helps the students to relax and improves their concentration level.
Badminton is a game which build the physical strength of the players. At Greenwoods the students are trained in this sport on a proper badminton court and are encouraged to participate in Inter school competitions.
Indoor games help the students to relax and develop their Concentration Level, Thinking and Mental Ability. Games such as Chess, Table Tennis, Carom Board are taught and played at Greenwoods School.
Students regularly are encouraged to participate in elocution competitions, which are conducted regularly throughout the year.
Our school arranges a proper play ground for the practice of the students. Exercise encourages confidence and physical fitness of the students. Players are selected according to their skills.Inter house competition is held.
The school encourages the students to participate in plays and skits conducted on various occasions like Republic day, Independence day and Annual Function. Plays based on the Social Awareness are conducted to help students understand their Rights and Duties towards the society.Participation in such Plays makes students extroverts and helps them open up.
Dance is a form of Art that helps students express themselves and builds their confidence and physical strength. Here at Greenwoods School dancing forms a part of the students time table. Students enjoy and learn various dance forms like Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Folk, Jazz, Free Style etc. Dance competitions are arranged on Republic and Independence day as well as the Annual Function.
Every year the school conducts cooking competition class-wise to develop and enhance basic-cooking skills among the students. Students are given topics which make them aware about good food habits. It gives nutrients information to the students and encourages them to eat healthy food.
The teachers conduct various types of games with objects in water-tub for the kindergarten students. Object such as rubber duck, rings, keys, balls etc. Children enjoy playing games. It is a refreshment for our small wonders.
Singing is the one talent virtually everybody possesses. Some are naturally gifted, while others can become good singers through dedication and practice. For nourishing the singing talent of the students the school conducts singing competition, and the students are awarded with Certificates, Medals and Trophies for their encouragement.
The school conducts Inter House Quiz contest every year. The Quiz is conducted so as to develop curiosity to learn knowledge of different subjects, and to develop competition skill.
